Wow! What a Week!

Wow! What a week, CAMP, DUFFY HERO and DUFFY THEATRE.
Waitawheta was great fun, we started the week with it pouring with rain and we couldn't tramp to Dickies Flat. But we all enjoyed a different kind of camp. It was filled with lots of inside activities. Watch out for our photo collages we are learning to make and our comments on our activities so that you can see and read about what we did.

Spaghetti Day

On Friday we decided to make homemade spaghetti. We had been reading a book called "More Spaghetti" and Tumata said, "Let's make spaghetti on Funday Friday!"
What a great idea, we had lots of tomatoes so we had turns getting the spaghetti ready. The knives were very sharp so Mrs Short helped with the chopping. Justyce still cut her finger, poor Justyce, luckily it was only a little knick.

Swimmimg Display

Yesterday afternoon we had our swimming sports. Our parents came to watch us swim. We did lots of different activities. We blew bubbles, we put our heads under the water, we kicked, we dived under the water,we swam across the pool, we used flutter boards, we ran across the pool, we jumped up and down, we did frog legs under the water and we swam freestyle.
It was cool, our parents were proud they clapped and cheered. Mrs Short was proud of us too and gave us Caught Being Good points.
